Rheem hot water system repairs for investment property.
We work with many real estate agencies and property managers across Sydney, providing a 24 hour, emergency hot water heater repair service. We were asked to attend the repair of a Rheem electric hot water system at an apartment in Arncliffe in Southern Sydney when the tenant reported they had no hot water.
Our hot water repair support service gives real estate agencies, investors (property owners) and tenants peace of mind that, should something go wrong with their hot water system, we’re here to help – 7 days a week.
Importantly, we pride ourselves on our honesty to advise our clients of the best and most cost-effective solution. We NEVER recommend work be undertaken that is not necessary. See below for more information.
After receiving the call from the property manager, we arranged to inspect the apartment at Arncliffe to diagnose and fix the Rheem hot water system (model 191050).
Once onsite, we isolated the hot water system from the main power. After inspecting and testing the element for a correct OHMs reading, we determined it was working correctly. Next, we inspected the thermostat for continuity and determined this was the cause of the problem.
The thermostat was replaced and the hot water system was again functioning correctly.
The tenant was back enjoying trouble-free hot water within the hour.
We reported back to the real estate agency so they could let the property owner know the issue had been rectified.

Save time and money by employing a local hot water expert
Did you know that often the repair and installation of a hot water system requires the expertise and qualifications of both a licensed plumber and a licensed electrician?
We are qualified to undertake any plumbing and electrical work required to ensure your hot water heater is repaired quickly and within budget. Plumbers who do not specialise in the installation of hot water heaters may need to outsource the electrical work required to another tradesperson, thereby holding up your hot water system repair or installation, adding extra expense due to additional call out fees charged by employing two tradespeople.
Your hot water heater is an expensive appliance. Don’t risk voiding your warranty.
Additionally, most manufacturers won’t cover the terms of your hot water system warranty if it isn’t installed by a licensed hot water technician or qualified plumber. Hot water tanks are an expensive appliance so why would you risk voiding your warranty by installing it yourself or employing the services of someone who isn’t licensed?
