We received a concerned call from a Hurstville customer who, over time, had been running out of hot water every now and then. One day, they found they had no hot water at all and they contacted us for assistance. With family coming to stay over Christmas, there was a sense of urgency and we were happy to help.
When speaking with the customer over the phone, our hot water specialist John, asked the customer to check the hot water system for leaks. Thankfully, the hot water system seemed to be intact. This isn’t a huge hot water system so won’t be expensive to run but, when hot water increases, it will be able to handle the extra load.
We disconnected and removed the old electric hot water system and installed the new one in the same place. Whilst onsite, we installed new tempering valve and duo valve to adhere to current Australian standards (AS3500 Plumbing Code). We replaced the old flexible hoses with new copper pipes.

Within a few hours, the customer was back enjoying trouble free hot water again and guests can luxuriate in long, hot showers now as new hot water system is more economical and will accommodate their changing needs.
