When this customer’s 30 year old Rheem gas hot water heater stopped working, they contacted us for assistance. Once onsite at the Marrickville property, it became evident that, due to the age of the old water heater, replacement parts were no longer being manufactured and it was beyond economical repair.

The customer wanted to update to a more energy-efficient hot water heater so we recommended the 170 litre Vulcan gas hot water system which offers high quality and performance at an affordable price.
Next, we safely disconnected and removed the old Rheem unit. Proper disposal measures were followed, making room for the new installation. The existing water heater connections were adjusted to prepare for the new Vulcan HWS. The Vulcan gas heater was installed and, due to its compact design, could be placed in the same spot as the old Rheem system.
We then thoroughly tested and calibration the new water heater to ensure safety and optimal performance.
