We were contacted by a customer located in Beacon Hill on Sydney’s Northern Beaches who had a small leak coming from their electric Rheem 250 litre hot water system.
Once onsite, we ascertained that the small leak was at the element. This was a simple and cost effective repair.
Whilst at the property, Steve suggested the service of the hot water system which can uncover other, hidden problems. Whilst doing the service, Steve determined that the pressure limiting valve had failed, causing the TPR valve to run, over-pressurising the tank.
We tank tested the element and thermostat. Both were working correctly. These simple tests give the customer peace of mind that they should enjoy trouble-free hot water for years to come.
