Fix Solahart hot water system.
We were contacted recently by a new customer at Pennant Hills, in the Hills District Sydney, whose Solahart Hilline rooftop solar hot water system had stopped producing hot water. Within 1.5 hours, we were onsite to diagnose and fix the problem.
Once onsite, our solar specialist John, ran a series of tests to find the problem.
It quickly became evident that the thermostat was faulty and required replacement. Once replaced with a new thermostat, the customer was back enjoying trouble free hot water.
Solahart repair
- Attend the Pennant Hills property to diagnose problem with Solahart Hiline rooftop hot water system not producing hot water.
- Assess the site for safety and take appropriate actions.
- Isolate the system at the main power.
- Inspect and test the element for correct OHMs reading. No problems found.
- Test the TRP valve. No problems found.
- Test the termostate. Fault found. Replace faulty thermostat.
- Reload and recommission the Solahart hot water system.
- Take further readings.
- Clean up the site and remove any associated rubbish.
